Seiko 5 7009-881L "Tunnel"

I've mentioned before that Seiko 5 dials and cases come in all sorts, but sometimes you have something like this that comes along and throws off the design scale.
A nice mix of shapes and lines sit very well on this Seiko 5 Tunnel, making it very much worth looking at.
Let's run the count shall we?
Tonneau case. Gold chapter ring. Stark TV dial. Combination of hour indices cut and applied onto the chapter ring, and also rivets of gold to mark the hours.
I cannot stress how access can seem so minimalistic at the same time. The black dial sucks you in and presents a clean disposition, ignoring the layered complexity of the rest of the timepiece.
Three distinct shapes from case to chapter ring to dial - one can only be pampered by the design elements that comes with this Seiko 5.
