Citizen 8270 Manual Wind New Master 22 "Cosmic"

My very first mechanical watch was a sunburst dial one, and so I do have a softspot for it. When this came along, I was awed by the gorgeous mix of silver and blue and black as the dial burst with color.
This manual wind offering keeps the dial as its focus without the distractions of a date or day display. The decorated hour batons sit neatly along the circumference of the dial, hidden if not for the stark black of the gradient sunburst dial.
The timekeeping hands are simple as well, kept to a minimal design and blending subtly into the dial. While it takes a bit off the legibility, it adds to my point about the dial being the center of attention.
It's a wonderfully captivating dial, and if you do get to meet Twilight, you'll know what I mean,
