Introducing
Seiko 5 6319-522A "Rusty"
Circa 1981
This guy reminds me of an old friend of mine who can fix literally anything. His courtyard is a mess of tools and things to be fixed, and if he had his way he'd spend the rest of his life making them work again.
Rusty here is one Seiko 5 that has gone through a pretty tough time in the sun, judging from his awesome patina for the outer dial. These usually come in gold, but this one has obviously gone through the harsh suntan treatment and has left it better for wear.
The dial is a tanned silver, and the it gives off a very vintage look on your wrist. The inner dial seems to have been made a little bigger, making the print on the 6'O a little hard to read. But it's all ok, coz the whole idea of vintage is to accept flaws and appreciate history.
And from the look of this guy, there's gotta be a whole lot to tell.
